Djalal Harouni is an open-source software developer and maintainer focused on improving Linux security. He maintains Tetragon, the eBPF-based security observability and runtime enforcement project, is a systemd maintainer focused on its sandboxing features, and contributes to the Linux kernel around filesystems, container interfaces and security fixes.
He has spoken at eBPF Summit and All Systems Go!, and served on the program committee of the Linux Foundation’s CloudNativeSecurityCon North America 2023.
At OrbiTraining he leads the Linux, cybersecurity, cloud-native and open-source governance courses, and the digital sovereignty program.
